Karen Fenton interview, 2001, May 9.

Fenton describes her Native American heritage, her education, her work as a teacher, and her work for her tribe, the Salish Kootenai. Fenton explains family violence within the framework of Native American history and traditions. She also discusses changing attitudes toward domestic violence, problems that still exist and the team approach toward assisting victims.
